Have your own island beach experience in the heart of Boston

A special summer pop-up in the heart of Boston at Charles River Park, Jugos, offers you your very own island escape. Charles River Park, the residential complex best known, perhaps, for the billboard, "If you lived here, you'd be home now," is home this summer to Jugos, the popular juice bar in Back Bay Station on Dartmouth St.

Jugos at Charles River Park is open through Labor Day this summer. Normally it costs $40 to enter the pool area but if you mention Jugos, you get in free. The menu is a cross between beach favorites and a Latin experience - think guacamole in the fish tacos, Batidos (smoothies with mango, banana, coconut, raw cacao and more), and favorite juices such as the Montauk with kale, pear, pineapple, coconut and mint, which make sipping healthy delicious too!

There is also the Jugos Detox, six juices for a one, three, or five day cleanse.

Don't miss the Island/Beach treats such as Taco Fish (fried fish, cabbage, guacamole, crema, salsa verde). Veggie Taco (portobello, summer squash, maiz, queso cotija, cabbage and salsa roja); Avocado Toast (crushed avocado on multigrain toast, with fresh lemon, olive oil, and red pepper); El Maiz Grilled Cord (crema, queso, cotija, cayenne, and lime); Empanadas de carne, and salsa jalisco. There also Tostones Fried Plantains, Yucca Fries, and Salsa Amarilla.

Celebrate the island/beach fare, sip refreshing juices and healthy and toast the fact that the menu is not only attractive and delicious but it's also good for you!
