Fifteen year old Jasolyn Lazu-Spring has been missing from her South Windsor, Connecticut home for nearly a week. She was last seen on March 18 and is believed to be in the Hartford area. She is a petite girl, at 4'11", weighing 105 pounds. She has brown eyes and shoulder length hair that is usually brown, but may have been dyed blonde. She was last seen wearing jeans and a black leather jacket.
It is believed that this teen ran away, as she has before, but that doesn't mean she is not in danger. There's no telling the atrocities that could befall a young girl alone in a large city. When will teenagers learn they are not invincible? Do they not read the news and see that terrible things happen to kids like them every day? And do they not care about the people at home who are worrying about them? Surely her family is frantic.
Hopefully this teenager comes to her senses and goes home. In addition to the serious concern for her safety, time and resources that should be allocated somewhere else are being used to locate her. If she were behaving like the adult she is pretending to be, she would see how selfish that is. If you have any information about Jasolyn's whereabouts, please call the South Windsor Police Department at 860-644-2551.
