Have you noticed an odor outside your front door?

Many stray cats will visit your home in the middle of the night, and if you have a cat(s) of your own you are probably at risk of a stray cat spraying around your home (Could be a neighbors cat too). It is a strong distinctive odor, however not hard to wash away. Feral and stray cats spray to mark their territory in an attempt to ward off other cats, including your sweet little fluff ball. Whether your cat is spayed/neutered or not a cat will still mark its territory around your home. Soap and water will take care of this odor, however if the feral or stray cat is not captured and removed in a humane manner of course it will continue to mark his/her territory until spayed or neutered. Many communities have services that will assist you in spaying and neutering costs and some are even free through certificates. So if you are having problems with stray, feral cats there are services that can help, and if you would like detailed information about the different humane options to rid yourself of stray and or feral cats around your home, I can be contacted at crazicatlady@who.rr.com.
