The Zit Whisperer is Reid Culpepper who has been a licensed esthetician since 2004. Reid attended esthetician school in Atlanta, GA (we were classmates!) and then moved to Arizona and then to California. Reid has extensive background (and personal experience) with acne and the problems it creates for people. Ms. Culpepper says, "I give facials every day- extracting blackheads, whiteheads, and big fat zits. And no, it’s not gross, it’s awesome. I’ve studied skin and acne for years, and have worked with thousands of people and countless products. I know acne."
Reid has a website, www.thezitwhisperer.com, that covers information about Reid's background, description of acne, solutions, what to do about scars and brown spots, pregnancy and acne, and the six essentials you need for clear skin. Ms. Culpepper has also developed a product line formulated specifically for the treatment of acne.
Click on the website, click on the link "online store" and you will see photos of different skin types. Identify your skin type and shop by category or choose from the products shown on the page. Each product has a description of what it is and what it does. The products are reasonably priced and there is no charge for shipment.
The product line consists of a cleanser for $20, Exfoliating Bacteria Killer for $28, Sunscreen Powder with SPF of 26 for $29. Other products include a hydrator, an oil reducer, healing mask and spot treatment, eye and dry moisturizer, brown spot and redness reducer and nighttime scar and wrinkle reducer. Ms. Culpepper also has the Clarisonic Mia for only $119.
