Have the glamorous tresses of a jet-setter with Philip B

I have been admirer of hair expert extraordinaire Philip B. for many years now. As I look inside the title page of one of my most cherished beauty books, Blended Beauty, can it really be that I've had it for nearly 20 years? The book has recipes to make luxurious beauty products at home. I've tried several! But, I don't always have the fresh, seasonal products on hand or feel like cleaning up the food processor. I certainly can't make blended hair products when traveling, and neither can you! How can you have gorgeous hair on the road?

Philip B creates glamorous hair products, including the Russian Amber Imperial line. I was very glad to be hosted to experience it! I couldn't very well make that at home! Imagine: getting amber, mortar and pestles . . . and what-not. Philip B's products are coveted by movie stars and royalty around the world. The hair-care line -- a splurge, to be sure -- has been listed in many financial magazines and beauty magazines as "being worth the splurge".

Now there's a Russian Amber Imperial "Traveler": a 3-1-1 bag-friendly collection. The Shampoo is a different consistency than that of any shampoo you've ever tried: it's like raw honey and comes in a tub, like a mask. And, just like a mask, you keep it on for a few minutes before rinsing. The scent is exotic and Silk Road and super-lush. With its rare oils, I would suggest you rinse with cooler than normal water, to not melt them all away!

The Conditioning Cream is more body cream-like in texture, with healing properties. I comb it through my hair with a wide-toothed comb in the shower; you won't need other products to de-tangle your hair afterwards. It also has the enticing scent. After using the combination of shampoo and conditioner, your hair will have that luxe texture and shine you crave!

When traveling, it's often hard to get a good hair washing in. Sometimes, the showers in foreign countries have funny attachments that don't seem to work. The water can be suspect. Or, you're traveling on a long-haul flight and need to freshen your 'do. That's where the Dry Shampoo comes in so handy! It won't dry your hair out -- like so many dry shampoos do. It won't flake. It will leave you fresh feeling and wonderfully scented.
