Have dinner out with your pet this summer

Summer is a great time in Kansas City, especially for those who enjoy the outdoor weather.  Restaurants all over KC have opened their outdoor patios for dining under the sky. Many restaurants in Kansas City are pet friendly and allow dogs on the patio with their owners.

Remember, when you take your pet to a restaurant, be courteous of the other diners and keep a close eye on them.  Do not allow your dog to approach other diners while they are eating, and keep the leash on them at all times.  DO NOT tie your dog to a table or chair,  I once saw a chocolate lab take off with a table from Latte Land, drinks and all!

Reverse, located on the Country Club Plaza is a contemporary styled restaurant that serves great wines and small plates.  They have a smaller sized patio, so getting a table out there, especially on the weekends, can be difficult.  Dogs are to be leashed at all times, and kept outside only. Find more information here:

M & S Grill is also on the Country Club Plaza.  American style cuisine is served, including aged steaks and seafood. Again, the patio fills up quick so get there early! Attire is nice casual and the prices are pretty reasonable.  Dogs must be leashed and outdoors only. More information here:

I'll be adding other restaurants in the next few weeks and if anyone has a suggestion for one, send me an email and I'll spread the word!
