The signs of spring have started to appear once again. Chirping birds are signaling the end of winter. Animals will begin to stir from hibernation, while others return from the warm south. Another sign is the arrival of the Easter Bunny at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.
Breakfast with the Bunny
On Saturday, March 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is hosting Breakfast with the Bunny, a program suitable for families and children of all ages, on the Zoo’s historic Mansion House Porch. .
Non-member tickets are $35.00 for adults, $15.00 for children 2-12, and free to children under 2. You can purchase tickets online here.
Help the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore celebrate spring by having special breakfast with the Easter Bunny. This “eggs-citing” hot catered breakfast buffet includes fluffy scrambled eggs, French toast sticks, bacon, hash brown potatoes, muffins, coffee, milk, and water". (No special dietary arrangements can be accommodated at this large breakfast event.)
Join the fun and, “… get your photo with the Easter Bunny, visit with some of our Animal Ambassadors, [and] stop by the arts and crafts stations”.
What You Need to Know
The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is located in Druid Hill Park near the downtown area (click here for directions). Parking is free.
Regular Zoo hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily from March through December. Admission is $16.50 for adults (12-64), $13.50 for seniors (64+), and $11.50 children (2-11). Children 2 and under are admitted free.
Winter Zoo hours (January-February) 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Friday through Monday. Admission is $8.25 for adults (12-64), $6.75 for seniors (64+), and $5.75 children (2-11). Children 2 and under are admitted free.
