The Gold Room Comedy Club (not to be confused with an old local establishment bearing the word "Platinum" in the name) and Pooches on the Move have partnered up for a fundraiser on Friday, March 8, 2013. Beginning at 8:00 o'clock, the Gold Room will be transformed into a giant kennel full of comedians pawing at the cage to be let out just to make us laugh. Our headliner for the evening is a national comedian, Larry Norton "Comic on a Harley" and we are also featuring the local funny of Gardiner, Maine's very own Joshua Mason...."Comic in a Yellow Wooden Paneled Station Wagon."
There will be a raffle, door prizes and a silent auction featuring prizes generously donated by local vendors and friends including: Portland Power Yoga, Carey Thorpe. LMT (MASSAGE!), City Center News, Commercial Property Services, Margaritas Restaurants, Free Range Fish and Lobster, PortSports, Wal Mart and Bang Cut & Color.
Tickets cost $15.00 each and Pooches on the Move will receive over half of the profits! So, let's pack the house and raise some money for all of our pooches!
The Gold Room also offers a full food and bar menu.
