Have a berry good time at George Schmidt Berry Farm

Our bounty from last year's visit.

A great treat and Spring/Summer activity in the
LehighValley is the many Pick Your Own (PYO) farms. One such farm located in New Tripoli, George Schmidt Berry Farm, offers strawberries, blueberries, red raspberries, peaches, blackberries and sour cherries, as well as sugar peas, pod peas, and string beans! Strawberry picking season officially opens today, May 25th! If you're not interested in picking your own but still want that freshly picked taste they do have strawberries for sale by the quart!

Introduce your family to the fun of PYO!

Their picking season runs from May thru October.

We managed to pick 3.85lbs. of strawberries and paid only $1.25/lb! They also had fresh asparagus, rhubarb and romaine lettuce!
