October 11-26 - Historic Hauntings Tours. This special Historic Hauntings tour takes guests inside one of Annapolis’ most notorious houses-the William Paca House- and into the sick room where many entered but some never escaped alive. Only our ghoulish guides can bring you inside this haunted home after dark. Fridays & Saturdays, 7:30 - 9 p.m. at Historic Annapolis Museum in Annapolis.
October 11 - November 2 - Tulip Gulch’s NIGHTMARES Haunted House. With hundreds of props and dozens of live actors, you won't know if you're coming, going or running around screaming with all of the fright filled adventures awaiting you in this year's Haunted adventure. The haunted house is rated PG-13. Opens at 6:30 p.m. Fridays & Saturdays at Bowie Baysox Stadium in Bowie.
October 12 - November 3 - Fall Farm Corn Maze. "Where's Our Scarecrow" in the corn maze is the event for 2013. Family fun with a corn maze, hay rides, cow train rides, pumpkins, corn hole, children's play area and more. Saturdays & Sundays opening at 10:30 a.m. at Maryland Sunrise Farm in Gambrills.
October 18-20 - Fall Maryland Home & Garden Show. Hundreds of knowledgeable contractors, landscapers, designers and house product gurus will be on hand to answer questions and help visitors get started with, continue on or add the finishing touch to home improvement projects of any size. Antiques Matchmaker, Sandman of Ocean City, Pumpkin Carver, Better Living Exhibits, Landscaped Gardens, ASID Consultations, Maryland Juried Craft Show, and more. Show opens at 10 a.m. daily at Maryland State Fairground in Timonium.
