“Haunted Collector” returns to the Wednesday night lineup on SyFy on March 6 at 9/8c for the premiere of season 3, says a SyFy announcement during the midseason finale of “Ghost Hunters” which aired on February 27. The show will fill “Ghost Hunters” time slot until it returns in April.
“Haunted Collector" follows John Zaffis and his crew as they investigate haunted locations looking for objects that may be haunted. Once uncovered Zaffis takes the haunted objects back to his museum where he keeps them under lock and key.
According to Zaffis ordinary objects can hold the energy of the dearly departed, but that’s not all. Objects can also hold the energy of negative spirits that may later haunt the owner. Zaffis’ solution is to remove any suspected haunted objects from the home to see if paranormal activity ceases.
Sometimes, objects bought at auctions or estate sales may contain ghostly energy that is only discovered when the object is brought into the home. A sudden increase in paranormal activity after bringing a new object into the home may be an indication that the object is haunted.
