One of the most popular fundraisers for the historic Adams Mill (link) is the Haunted Mill. The mill closed for the season earlier in Oct. to set up displays for this event. Hundreds of visitors from the Lafayette, Kokomo and Delphi area come to be thrilled and scared.
A hayride through the haunted woods starts at the mill and goes throughout the woods nearby, ending with a warm campfire.
In the mill, there are 2 levels of “scare” available. For younger children, the first hour is a good option. They can choose the less scary tour or just simply opt for the hayride and campfire.
Promoting Wildcat Valley folks will have a concession stand on the front porch of the mill. Hot dogs, drinks and s’mores will be offered for sale.
While the first floor is wheelchair accessible, the upper floors are not.
Admission: Adults 7$, kids 5$.
