Hattiloo Theatre in Memphis is seeking a house manager

Ekundayo Bandele, founder and CEO of Hattiloo Theatre has announced that the theatre is accepting resumes for a house manager.

According to a statement released by the theatre, the person who fills this post will work Wednesday - Sunday, but will have some weekends off.

The statement also describes the position. "The house manager is responsible for attending run-through rehearsals at the theatre to ensure that they are familiar with the structure of the plays as well as to ensure that the actors\actresses and production team members are adhering to the safety guidelines. The house manager is also in constant communication with the stage managers in order to keep the timing of the plays accurate and to also be aware of when they should be keeping the lobby clear and quiet. The most important duty of the house manager however is to insure that the guests and loyal patrons have the best experience possible at the theatre."
