Has Seth MacFarlane's misogyny led to washing his hands off the Oscars? (Video)

Oscar host Seth MacFarlane’s punch lines using women as the object of joke at the 85th Annual Academy awards on Sunday was not quite welcomed by critics around the country.

Reports on Feb. 25, 2013, stated that MacFarlane’s performance on the Oscar night went terribly wrong and the actor might have to wash off his hands from Oscars in the future.

The critics are even calling his performance as misogyny aiming at hostility towards women. Some critics are of the view that there are many better things to joke about than to crack jokes on women, race, sex etc.

On being asked by a fan on twitter on Tuesday morning whether MacFarlane would like to host the event again, he replied in negative while stating that he had lot of fun hosting the show.

But it seems some of his jokes went so bad that critics are of the view that it will bring down his popularity amongst fans.

On the other hand, some critic like THR's chief TV critic Tim Goodman was of the view that looking at his past record MacFarlane was relatively tame throughout the evening.
