Has Erika Slezak and Robert S. Woods signed on for the new ‘OLTL’ reboot?

A news report came from, showbiz411 that made many soap fans happy. This report stated that Erika Slezak and Robert S. Woods have signed a deal with Prospect Park to work on the new “One Life to Live” reboot. Of course, fans know that these are the beloved characters of Vicki Banks and Bo Buchanan. Jerry verDorn, the actor who plays Clint Buchanan reported on his Facebook page last week that he would be working on the reboot, as well. Plus, the divine Robin Strasser, who plays the sometime trouble making and always fun to watch Dorian Lord, announced via Twitter that she has signed on with the project. This means that the main characters of the “One Life To Live” are on board, if this newest report from showbiz411 is correct.

Of course, fans may recall that Ms. Slezak was on board the first time Prospect Park tried to bring “One Life to Live” onto the Internet. This means that this could very well be a real report.

Most fans would agree that this show would not be the same without these core characters. Now the fans are eager to see which other characters will sign on next.

News reports are saying that the characters of Rex and Gigi may not be on the canvas, at least they won’t be played by the original actors. Actors John-Paul Lavoisier and Farah Fath have currently stated that they aren’t interested in the project. They want to keep their schedules open since this is pilot season.

Yet, the real twist in the casting of this project will be the characters of Starr, Todd and John. As fans know, these characters are currently residing in Port Charles (General Hospital). The actors themselves have contracts with ABC. The characters are owned by Prospect Park, for the moment. This is a huge dilemma for the lawyers. Some fans want the characters to stay in Port Charles, some want them to head back home where they belong and others may like the idea of a crossover. Hopefully, a resolution will happen fast and the powers that be will tell the fans what the resolution is.

For now, fans continue to check their computers throughout the day, hoping for new news on this project and the “All My Children” reboot. They want to find out which other actors will be joining the project. They want to know when filming will begin. They want to know when the project will air on the Internet. Finally, for those with poor Internet connections or no Internet they want to know if these shows are heading to a cable television station. They understand that the Prospect Park is busy, yet they have fought hard to see the revival of these shows and many people are not believing the rebirth is happening because little news has actually come from Prospect Park.

What about you? Do you actually believe that this reboot is happening? Are you still fearful that this is another hoax? If you believe, who are the next actors you want to sign on to the project?
