Percy Harvin may be saying adieu to the Minnesota Vikings soon. According to a Feb. 9 CBS Sports (WCCO) report, the Vikings are expected to trade Harvin during the offseason and it has nothing to do with his injured ankle. Harvin’s trade rumors are reportedly linked to his temper
Sources told WCCO’s 830 News Radio Mike Max that the main reason Percy Harvin left the team this season was the fight he had with Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier. Multiple sources said that Harvin had an embarrassing and disrespectful tirade directed toward Frasier, when Harvin was sidelined with an injured ankle.
Harvin’s teammates were reportedly present during the duo’s fight. Shortly after, Harvin was put on injured reserve. According to Mike Max, Harvin's teammates were disappointed in the player because of his actions and the organization has moved toward less tolerance for such disrespectful behavior.
This is not Harvin’s first tirade against a coach. He reportedly had a similar incident when Childress coached the team.
The Vikings will try to trade him, Max reports, as Harvin does have market value.
