It has just been announced that Paula Reed, who has acted as luxury department store Harvey Nichols' fashion director for a little over a year, has resigned her position.
Reed says that though she has "thoroughly enjoyed working with the team at Harvey Nichols" she is looking "forward to new and exciting opportunities."
Reed's plans remain unknown and, as of yet, no successor has been found.
In addition to Reed's departure, the company will also be wishing farewell to the store's current CEO, Joseph Wan, who is retiring at the end of this year. Though officials at Harvey Nichols say that no appointment has been made for Wan's position, many speculate that former Burberry chief financial officer, Stacey Cartwright, will be filling his shoes.
Wan remarked on Reed's resignation by stating that he is "saddened about Paula's departure and I wish her well for the future."
