Harvestguard Alseids from 'Journey Into Nyx'

Featured in the "Pantheon's Power" Intro Pack from Wizards of the Coast's expert "Magic: The Gathering" expansion set "Journey Into Nyx," Harvestguard Alseids is a new white common enchantment creature card with constellation that can prevent all damage to one or more of your creatures.

Harvestguard Alseids - 2W
Enchantement Creature - Nymph (Common)
Constellation - Whenever Harvestguard Alseids or another enchantment enters the battlefield under your control, prevent all damage that would be dealt to target creature this turn.
Not all shields are forged of iron or bronze.

Harvestguard Alseids may not have the sexiest ability in comparison to some of its other constellation brethren such as Underworld Coinsmith, Grim Guardian, however that doesn't mean it won't make an impact on your games.

How many times have you found yourself with a small creature such as Pharika's Chosen that wouldn't live through combat due to an opponent's blockers? Harvestguard Alseids allows you to attack with that creature and live to tell the tail after casting a Armament of Nyx, Banishing Light, Nyx Infusion, or Cast into Darkness. Your opponent will need to choose between taking more damage or throwing one of their blockers under the proverbial bus. Over the course of a long game, every damage counts, and Harvestguard Alseids will help you get there.

As an enchantment creature Harvestguard will live through an Extinguish All Hope and trigger Doomwake Giant.

How will you use Harvestguard Alseids?
