Monroe Lake will host the Harvest Moon Weekend at Paynetown State Recreation Area Sept. 29-30.
Autumn crafts will be offered from 1 to 5 p.m. both days.
On Sunday morning, there will be an autumn trees hike at 9:15 a.m. and face painting for kids from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The highlight of the weekend is the Saturday campfire program at 8 p.m.: “The Harvest Moon: Mystery, Magic and Meaning.”
