Harvard Westlake Band play at Catalina Jazz Club

It is rare for young musicians, especially those in high school, to get an opportunity show their talent before the public. They will get that opportunity this month. Now in their 16th year, the Barbara Brighton Young Artists Jazz Series will showcase the Harvard Westlake School Jazz Combos, Tuesday, March 19, at 8:30 pm at Catalina Bar & grill in Hollywood. It is really a treat to see these young people who have tremendous talent perform before a live audience. Many of them will go on to a professional career.

The Harvard Westlake jazz program is recognized as one of the area's finest. Their students regularly obtain scholarships to music colleges throughout the nation.
