It truly is March Madness in the 2013 NCAA tournament. The New Mexico vs. Harvard game proved to be one of the biggest upsets of the tournament so far, The Washington Post reported on Mar. 22.
Although Harvard is best known for its academics, producing some of the country’s brightest minds, former Presidents, and wealthy business owners, their basketball team is making big headlines this week for beating New Mexico, and providing fans with the biggest upset of the NCAA tournament so far.
Not many could say that the chose Harvard to upset New Mexico on their March Madness brackets. However, it happened.
Harvard, the number 14 seed beat number 3 New Mexico 68-62 on Thursday night, and Harvard students, and alumni couldn’t have been more thrilled. “YYYYYEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!! HARVARD winssss!!! I told you,” Harvard Alum turned NBA pro, Jeremy Lin tweeted after the big win.
