On Monday it was announced that UConn's Bria Hartely has been named the American Athletic Conference's Player of the Week. Hartley, a 5-8 senior guard from North Babylon, N.Y., averaged 19.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists in leading the No. 1 Huskies to three consecutive wins over ranked opponents.

Hartley’s 20 points led UConn against No. 3/3 Stanford last Monday, followed by a 10-point, six-assist performance against No. 8/7 Maryland on Friday. She matched her career high with 29 points against No. 13/15 Penn State on Sunday—a game in which she banged home five buckets from beyond the three-point arc, and added six rebounds and four steals.

The Huskies will entertain the 2-1 Oregon Ducks of the Pac-12 Conference on Wednesday night at the XL Center. Tip-off is at 7 p.m., and the game will be televised on SNY, and streamed live on ESPN3.com.
