Hartford Hockey high up in the Hawk's Nest

Every Friday night you can take the Church Street escalators within the XL Center up to the Hawk's Nest to get first hand information on the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Bob Crawford has been broadcasting games in Hartford for the Rangers top affiliate for 17 years now. He is the host of the Hawk's Nest. The Hawk's Nest is a pre-game show that you can attend live, and ask questions within the realm of hockey and especially Hartford hockey.

The show is tremendously interesting and for more reason than one. A place where you get some information on the team that you don't hear anywhere else and you also have the opportunity to ask those questions that you've always wanted to know the answer to.

The Hawk's Nest has a guest list that is a who's who of Hartford hockey right now. Head Coach Ken Gernander was the show's first guest. Assistant Coaches Jeff Beukeboom and Pat Boller have all been on the Hawk's Nest as well.

The show is held from 6:00-6:20pm on Friday night Wolf Pack game nights. The Coliseum Club has seen some improvements since Global Spectrum has taken over management of the XL Center. Global has even given out Wolf Pack shirts and gift cards to coffee shops to any in attendance. Who wouldn't be interested in free stuff and a show on Hartford hockey.

The event is usually attended by 30-50 people and there is still room for plenty more. The C.C. offers drink and food specials before and during the show.

The Hawk's Nest is Hartford Hockey's premiere place for pre-game entertainment. Where else will you get a chance to ask that question you have always wanted to know about AHL Hartford Hockey?
