On May 21 CBS News posted the news that actress Rachel Bilson is reportedly pregnant with her first child. Bilson, 32, is currently engaged to actor Hayden Christensen and stars in the CW drama "Hart of Dixie" about a city doctor who begins working in a small southern town. It will be the first child for both actors, who have been engaged for several years.
The pair met back in 2007 while working on the science fiction thriller "Jumper," about a man named David (Christensen) who discovers he can teleport from place to place. Bilson played Mille, his school crush who helps avoid the people hunting him down. The duo were engaged in December 2008 and purchased a home together.
However, they broke up in 2010 but reconciled three months later. Bilson recently gave interviews expressing her baby fever and wanted to be a mom. The pair are currently selling their home in the Hollywood Hills and looking for new property, and have discussed having children for a long time. The couple reside in Los Angeles where Bilson grew up but also own a farm in Ontario were Christensen spent time.
Bilson is most well known for playing the popular Summer Roberts on the teen drama "The O.C." were she eventually dated her co-star and love interest Adam Brody for two years. Brody recently married "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester. Her first film role was in the 2006 film "The Last Kiss" with Zach Braff. Bilson worked with Josh Schwartz on "The O.C." and "Hart of Dixie," the latter of which is still airing on the CW Network.
On May 21 Wetpaint Entertainment reported that those closest to Bilson have revealed that couple are "very excited" about having a baby together. The actress was born to be a mom and its possible she hinted about the news in her Cosmopolitan interview which was released last week.
Christensen, 33, is a Canadian actor who is most recognizable for playing a young Anakin Skywalker in the "Star Wars" prequel films. He appeared as Anakin in "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones" and "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" as Darth Vader. He also began appearing on Canadian television at age thirteen and earned Golden Globe nominations for his work on "Life as a House."
