Sometimes “Hart of Dixie” makes it easy to forget that the reason Zoe (Rachel Bilson) came to Bluebell in the first place was to be a doctor. But it looks like an upcoming episode is going to be a reminder to viewers.
On Thursday, The CW released spoilers for the episode, “Lovesick Blues.” The episode features Zoe receiving a call from the Health Department that warns a flu epidemic is heading toward Bluebell. This leads to Zoe putting the town on lockdown and of course personal crises follow for our favorite characters.
Wade (Wilson Bethel) ends up quarantined with at an ex-girlfriend’s house, which causes Zoe to be jealous. Lemon (Jaime King) has everything set for a perfect night with Walt (guest star Rich McDonald), but might have to cancel when she starts to get sick.
Meanwhile, George (Scott Porter) has reluctantly agreed to direct Lavon’s (Cress Williams) new tourism commercial, but Lavon seems more interested in his costar than in promoting Bluebell’s small-town charm.
“Hart of Dixie” airs Tuesdays at 7 p.m. CST on The CW. “Lovesick Blues” will air Jan. 29.
