The flu is nearby, and Bluebell isn’t safe. Look, medicine has sort have returned to Hart of Dixie. It’s always nice to see Zoe back in doctor mode for a little bit. Surprisingly there aren’t many moments where she is over her head, which would have made perfect sense considering she is one doctor taking care of an entire town practically at once. Hopefully the writers will continue to have medicine play more of a part in the show, even if it is just moments or storylines like the flu outbreak. This storyline was able to provide humor as well as a way to connect all the storylines in the episode. What did you think of the great flu outbreak?

In the midst of the flu epidemic, Lavon has hired George and Tom to produce a commercial for Bluebell. Filmore, a rival town, made one to try to steal strawberry picking tourists away from Bluebell, the nerve of some towns. This is just a cute, funny storyline. It’s got the great small town charm to it, and hopefully the writers will continue to use this rivalry with Filmore. Anytime a good bit of the town is involved in something, it is bound to be entertaining. Did you love all the commercial drama?

Germs aren’t the only thing in the air, romance is as well! Lavon and Annabeth are the talent of the commercial, and George spies chemistry. There’s nothing too special about this storyline, but it is adorable. Of course it is only a matter of time before the Lemon bomb detonates. Speaking of Lemon, she is very entertaining and likable in this episode. She is out of her depth, and turns to Annabeth for guidance when Walt says he wants to cook her dinner. The highlight of this storyline is Annabeth and Lemon’s friendship. It’s nice to see Lemon when she isn’t completely in control or when she knows everything. What did you think of all the romance?
