Brick: “That is the third patient today who has requested you. How much are you paying them?”
Zoe: “What can I say? Bluebell and I kinda became besties during the flu.”

Lemon is trying very hard to be a new, nicer version of herself. Brick’s declaration of how she has changed is what gets her to stop trying to get rid of Shelby. Other than that, the writers don’t really show her being any nicer. It is more of keeping her mouth shut. The writers could have thrown in Lemon interacting with someone else and trying to be nice, like maybe Zoe. At least there is the conversation at the end with Annabeth where Lemon comments on having some self restraint. Would you like to see more of Lemon 2.0 or are you glad Lemon is going back to her old self?
Zoe is beloved by the town! Yes, Dr. Zoe Hart is popular in Bluebell. She has come a long way since arriving in Bluebell. It’s weird seeing her so popular with the town. Zoe has definitely made friends since arriving, but this episode shows her getting some free stuff. Of course, the fame goes to her head a little bit, causing her to focus on more work and less on Wade. It’s a reasonable storyline to have, and overall it’s entertaining. There isn’t much of a resolve or anything. Zoe and Wade have a small fight, but it seems like things are okay, and Zoe learns from Jonah that the town always liked her. Did you like seeing Zoe popular?
Here are quick thoughts on elsewhere in the episode. The George, Tansy and Dolly Parton storyline starts off rather uninteresting. Overall, it isn’t that exciting, but the one saving moment is the scene with George singing to Dolly Parton that scene is just too cute. Now does it completely make up for the majority of the storyline? Maybe. Annabeth and Lavon spend the episode trying to navigate their complicated relationship. Lavon finally learns that Lemon still has feelings for him, and Lemon learns about Annabeth and Lavon. Unfortunately for Lavon, Annabeth decides to be a good friend, even though Lemon may not deserve it. Do you think Annabeth made the right call in dumping Lavon?
