Harry Styles upstages Taylor Swift by praising her for Grammy performance

Either Harry Styles is smarter than the average young artist or he is on the receiving end of some expert advice. According to the New York Times on Monday, the nineteen year old has decided to take the high road when asked about Taylor Swift’s alleged jab at him during her recent Grammy performance.

It is speculated that Swift fired a shot at her ex-boyfriend during her performance of ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ at the Grammy Awards show earlier this month when she simulated a British accent at a key point in the tune.

To add injury to insult, the twenty-three year old went so far as staging a performer who arguably represented Styles during the performance as he was in attire that resembled the British artists’ style.

This could actually be a first for Taylor as each one of her exes usually have their own bashing song. ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ was inspired by Jake Gyllenhaal and he took the hit initially. Should Styles feel slighted that he was the recipient of sloppy seconds?

Harry Styles seems unfazed by Swift’s performance. In fact he states, “She's a great performer and she always performs great." He went on to say, "She's always good on the stage. She's been doing it a long time. She knows what she's doing on stage. It was just another good Taylor Swift performance."

One would think that young Harry probably saw something like this coming a mile away.

It doesn’t take a rock scientist to figure out that if you date Taylor Swift, you’re going to get slammed by her via her music after all is said and done.

What’s it going to take for Taylor to stop this annoying trend? As long as people are shelling out the bucks to hear it, she’s going to serve it up so who could blame her?

Unfortunately, her reputation may just cause her to miss out on a really nice guy. Let’s hope she finds other things to write about before that happens.
