One Direction’s Harry Styles knows it was the fans that made the band’s latest win possible. Taking the stage of the BRIT Awards at the O2 Arena on Wednesday night the band picked up an award as well as performed. Harry Styles obviously was elated, but he didn't keep all the joy to himself as he took time to thank the fans for their voting and loyalty to help the band win.
“Thank you so much everyone last night... Cannot believe we won!! you're incredible. Thank you so much to the @BRITAwards for having us,” tweeted Harry Styles from his official Twitter account on Thursday.
As the guys definitely gave a performance to remember, the BRIT Awards had critics suggest the show was bland. With a few good performances and plenty of moments that were assumed (like One Direction picking up an award) perhaps the naysayers where correct. However, for One Direction fans the awesome performance and over the top moments on stage seemed perfect for the music lovers.
