Members of "The X Factor" U.K. boy band One Direction showed a bit of homo-erotic humor on comedian James Corden's Sky One panel show "A League of Their Own," in an episode that was filmed on March 14, 2013. The episode will be televised on a date to be announced.
According to The Sun, Corden (who is 34) and One Direction's Harry Styles (who is 19) puckered up to recreate a passionate kiss that was photographed between celebrity spouses David and Victoria Beckham when they were at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game in May 2012.
In addition, One Direction's Niall Horan, 19 (who is the only one in the group who doesn't have tattoos) got his bottom inked with a fake tattoo of Corden's face.
One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, 21, also appeared on the show. Styles, Horan and Tomlinson were all guests at Corden's September 2012 wedding to Julia Carey. The couple has a son named Max, who turns 2 years old on March 22, 2013.
Corden frequently socializes with Styles, and he was one of Styles' friends who partied with the One Direction star on Styles' 19th birthday this year.
An unnamed source told The Sun about the Styles/Corden smooch: “The audience were in stitches. They couldn’t believe they actually kissed. James has no qualms about giving a bloke a cheeky peck on the lips and neither does Harry. It lasted for about five seconds.”
In the episode, comedian Jack Whitehall reportedly teased Styles about Styles' tattoos, which include a butterfly on his chest. Styles was also ribbed about his lack of athletic skills, but he took all the jokes at his expense in a good-natured manner, according to The Sun.
