The hairstyles of "X Factor" U.K. stars Harry Styles and Gary Barlow have ranked in a Top 10 poll that lists the male hairstyles that are currently the most-requested in U.K. hair salons. The poll was conducted by The Sun. One Direction's Styles ranks at No. 1, while "The X Factor" U.K. judge Barlow ranks at No. 8.
One Direction has become the biggest global act to emerge from "The X Factor." The group (which came in third place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010) has had No. 1 hits and sold-out tours in several countries. Styles, 18, has become the most visible member of the group since he gets the most attention from the media and fans.
Barlow, 41, is a founding member of singing group Take That. He joined "The X Factor" U.K. in 2011.
Hair stylist Andrea Daley, from the Barbara Daley salon in Liverpool, England, told The Sun: “Harry’s recognized what hair has done for Justin Bieber’s career and wants his locks to help him be just as popular.”
For anyone who cares, Styles is often asked in interviews what hair products he uses. He usually mentions Bumble and Bumble hair products.
