According to court documents, Diana Tejada, Reid’s Secretary for Hispanic Media, has admitted to receiving payments in exchange for entering into a fraudulent marriage with Lebanese national, Bassam Mahmoud Tahini,37, so that he could obtain permanent U.S. residency.
Apparently, Tejada lied to immigration officials and FBI agents on multiple occasions and submitted false documents to the Department of Homeland Security. She has been in the sham marriage since 2003.

In November 2009, Tarhini, pleaded guilty to entering into a fraudulent marriage to evade immigration laws, a felony, and was deported in March 2010.
Though she admitted to her role in the crime, Tejada, 28, has never been charged.
Bob Troester, spokesman for the Western District of Oklahoma U.S. Attorney’s Office, which prosecuted Tarhini, has only said: “We did not charge the woman, and of course we don’t discuss the reasons we don’t charge people.”
He continued: “There’s multiple factors that go into charging decisions. She wasn’t charged and we can’t go beyond that.”
While Reid’s office says that Tejada no longer works for the Senator, they refuse to say exactly when she was fired.
However, she was still working for Reid as recently as five weeks ago. On Sept. 21, 2010, Tejada appeared on a Spanish-language radio program as a spokeswoman for Harry Reid.
On Monday evening, Reid’s spokesman Jim Manley said Tejada claimed ignorance to the entire situation.
Manley told FoxNews: “Our office was not previously aware of these allegations. The staffer at issue is no longer with our office. The conduct alleged, which took place several years before the staffer worked for Senator Reid, was clearly wrong. But the bottom line remains that this story is a pathetic and desperate measure by partisan republicans, who have stooped to slinging mud about junior staffers to score points in the waning days of the campaign.”
It is rumored that Tejada now works for La Raza.

And, I'm sure that working for Harry Reid had nothing to do with the Hands-Off treatment she got from law enforcement, right? Is this woman native-born, or naturalized? If the latter, why hasn't she been stripped of citizenship and DEPORTED?
No wonder Reid won't push for no amnesty...look under his carpet, and I bet the cucarachas just come pouring out!!!!! He is a disgrace to his office, his people(whoever they may be) and this nation. Hopefully, the other multi- term worms will get something from this and head for the hills!!!
