December 28, 2011—While most people know about Emma Watson because of the Harry Potter series, she's now becoming known as well for her beauty and sense of style. She's Lancome's new “it” girl for the Blanc Expert Derm-Crystal campaign. A video as well as set photos have been released of the good witch turned Beauty Icon for 2011. Emma Watson and Lancome's Blanc Expert Derm-Crystal

The shots show Emma Watson—aka Hermione Granger in Harry Potter—in various stages of preparation of the shoot. She can at times be seen having her make up applied or goofing around behind the scenes. There are the more than occasional glamor shots as well with Emma being bathed in bright, almost mystical light.

The very English girl was actually born in France, according to the IMDb. Miss Watson decided by the age of 6 that she wanted to be an actress. By the age of 10, she was getting acting roles. By the early 2000s, Emma had been discovered and started production on the first of the Harry Potter movies, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001). Of all the Potter stories, her favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
