'Harry Potter' nominated for 4 BAFTA Movie Awards 2012

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, directed by David Yates has been nominated for four BAFTA Orange British Academy Film Awards for 2012. The announcement was made by BAFTA today. The movie is the final adaptation of the bestselling boy wizard series by J. K. Rowling.

The film starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, has been nominated in the following categories:

  • Production Design
  • Makeup and Hair
  • Sound
  • Special Visual Effects

None of the actors were nominated and neither were the director nor the writer of the adapted screenplay (Steve Kloves).

The BAFTA Orange British Academy Film Awards for 2012 will be presented in London on February 12, 2012 at the Royal Opera House.
