'Harry Potter': Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe share 'passionate' kiss -- It seems that in filming Deathly Hallows Part 1, Daniel Radcliffe was caught off guard by a "passionate" kiss from Emma Watson. Here's what happened.
According to People, the actor who plays Harry Potter appeared on ITV's Daybreak in the UK Wednesday to promote the movie. In the interview, he made the following remark about a scene they filmed where Hermione Granger and Harry Potter kiss:
"I always thought it was going to be this soft sensual sort of moment, and suddenly there was this vigorous kissing happening to me," Daniel Radcliffe said. "She is a bit of an animal … But then, I'm not complaining. There are tens of thousands of men that would cut off limbs to be in that position."
The kiss was described as an "ambush," and it was so unexpected that it sent fellow co-star Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the films, laughing and exiting the room.
At the UK premiere Thursday night, according to the Telegraph, Emma Watson answered the question about what was going on with the kiss from her perspective:
"I don't know what to say," Emma Watson said. "I suppose it had to be a kiss that would make Ron really jealous and so I think that's why I was so passionate."
Many Harry Potter fans have long enjoyed the debates among those called "shippers," short for "relationship-pers" who have imagined various pair-ups in the book and film series since the characters entered adolescence in the later installments.
