'Harry Potter,' Daniel Radcliffe richer than Princes William and Harry? -- According to today's The Economic Times, the answer is yes. The publication claims that actor Daniel Radcliffe is wealthier than either Prince William or Prince Harry of his beloved England.
They have numbers.
They say the Daily Mail published information that Queen Elizabeth II's grandsons each have $44 million (U.S. dollars).
Compare that to the $45 million the ET finds that Daniel Radcliffe has saved this year. Last year, they say, he had $23 million.
The Economic Times also reports that Mr. Radcliffe maintains three properties in New York and another in London.
Does that mean that a wizard is "worth" more than a prince? Well, that might depend on his magic.
Daniel Radcliffe is the star of the eight Harry Potter films based on the bestselling series by J.K. Rowling. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 is the latest film in the Potter franchise, and it will be released on November 19, 2010.
Daniel Radcliffe is also working on a film called Woman in Black and will star next spring on Broadway in a revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
If this report is anywhere near correct (who knows), it sounds like Mr. Radcliffe might have the business part of the Broadway role down pat.
