The numbers are in for the midnight showing of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1.”
According to Mugglenet, the movie brought in $24 million in the midnight viewings alone. The website also reports that the film is expect to pass the $100 million mark by the end of the weekend.
“Harry Potter” didn’t beat the $30 million record, which was set by the “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” back in June. Many think this is because the film was released when kids weren’t in school.
Did you go to the midnight showing? I didn’t, but I can’t wait to see it this weekend.
