'Harry Potter' actors may be perfect for legendary roles: Igor and Cinderella?

MTV reports today that “Harry Potter” fans may have a lot to look forward to. Two of the series’ biggest stars are in serious talks to entertain us on the big screen once again.

Don’t get too excited. Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are not negotiating roles in the same flick. Radcliffe has been considering the role of Igor in a new version of “Frankenstein” for a while now but he is reportedly close to signing on the dotted line.

The young actor states that it is an “interesting” but very loose adaptation of the original novel. Radcliffe would begin filming after his stint on London’s West End in Martin McDonagh’s “The Cripple of Inishmaan.” He has joked that the two roles back to back would certainly benefit his chiropractor.

Who better to play “Cinderella” than the beloved Emma Watson? Although, the talented actress is said to be in early discussions to join the production of the classic, fans are certainly hoping to see her in this role. Perhaps Watson can bring some strength to the role as Kristen Stewart gave depth to her Snow White character.

Emma Watson could certainly kick back and collect royalties from the “Harry Potter” series and feast on bon bons but, she seems to be a driven actress. She has completed projects including the critically acclaimed, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” as well as Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah.” These are two films worth checking out.

One thing is for sure, these two actors have not lost their appeal to audiences no matter what roles they play.
