A Harrison Ford rumor is causing many “Star Wars” fans to be more excited than ever about the new trilogy this week, as the Christian Science Monitor reported this Friday, Feb. 15, that Harrison Ford may be returning to his role as Han Solo in the upcoming film.
“Star Wars” fans were excited if surprised to hear that Disney Studios had purchased Lucas Films, and with that, the rights to creating a new trilogy in the “Star Wars” universe, beginning with a new “Star Wars” movie for Episodes 7 through 9. There was always the question whether the old cast would make an appearance, or if new actors and actresses would appear in this hotly anticipated science-fiction trilogy.
Now, there is a new Harrison Ford rumor that the actor may be playing Han Solo again in “Star Wars: Episode 7.” If these reports are indeed true (as a confirmed screenwriter has been found), it’s also likely that the former cast (admittedly roughly 30 years older than when the films first hit theaters) may also make a star appearance onscreen.
