It used to be that if two males pricked their fingers and pressed the bleeding wounds against each other, they would officially become blood brothers. Well, Jimmy Fallon went a bit further and allowed Hollywood actor Harrison Ford to pierce his left ear on the comedian's late-night talk show before a live audience.
After the bonding ceremony, Fallon took to Instagram and posted an image of the two with the following caption: "Harrison Ford pierced my ear on our show tonight. #ThereWillBeBlood." He added, "No joke. Harrison Ford pierced my ear. Then we wore matching earrings."
The 39-year-old actor, singer and musician currently hosts "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on NBC. Ford is best known for the memorable roles he played in the original "Star Wars" trilogy and the title character in the "Indiana Jones" film series. Ford stars in "Ender's Game," an action/adventure/sci-fi now showing in theaters nationwide.
During the ear-piercing session, the beloved 71-year-old box-office draw donned a white lab coat, surgical gloves and later a dangling, red feathered earring to match Fallon's.
