Fans of “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” have a whole new reason to be excited today.
ComingSoon has learned today that Harrison Ford (“Air Force One”) has joined the cast of “Anchorman: The Legend Continues,” and he will be playing an esteemed news anchor.
This role should be a walk in the park for the grump old man who had a similar role in 2010’s “Morning Glory.”
He will be joining the returning Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, David Koechner and Paul Rudd as well as fellow newcomers Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker, Meagan Good, and John C. Reily.
Considering the incredible cast coming together (I assure you there will be plenty of other big name cameos in the film) this is turning into a sequel worth waiting for (it will have been a decade by the time this hits theaters since the first film).
