Harrisburg music scene this weekend (03/19 & 03/20)

There’s plenty of live, local music to experience in Central Pennsylvania this weekend (March 19th and March 20th), so there’s no excuse to stay home. Enjoy the great weather and go out for some kicking shows!

Friday

Insert shameless self-promotion here.> Rock-and-roll mixologists Booby Trap will once again take Double K Tavern in Harrisburg by storm! If you haven’t seen this band at their favorite watering hole, then you’ve been missing out. Check out all the action starting at 9:30 sharp!

Saturday

Stoner sludge rock artistes 1000 Earth Years and the raging punk band The Boregasms return to Rumors in Enola to bring an aural force to your ears that cannot be matched. Be prepared for the sonic assault at 9:00 when alterna-grungers Chasing Darwin start things off. Be there on time or you will miss out!

Insulated in Pink and their hard-rocking style is going to tear down the walls at Ye Olde Ale House in Mechanicsburg. The Pink will start flying at 9:00.

Modern rockers Lucid will be opening for NYC-based KISS tribute act KISS Alive at The Village in Lancaster. Make sure you catch Lucid, as the show will start at 10:00.

The ultimate Ozzy tribute act Rebourne will bark at the moon at Tubby’s Nightclub in Duncannon. The crazy train will kick off at 9:30.

Asking Andy will bring the fun rocking to Fat Daddy’s in York. Rockers Red Letter Morning will get the party started at 10:00.

Grind brings the metal to Zinger’s in Dallastown with Trauma 6 starting at 9:00. James Thomas and the boys really bring it on, so don’t be late!

Make sure you get out and support local music. Local musicians need love too. Keep rocking!
