Harrisburg music scene this weekend (03/12 & 03/13)

Still looking for something to do this weekend in Central Pennsylvania? Get up and get out and check out some local music. Local music: it does a body good!

Friday

Blues guitar legend Don Johnson and his fellow funksters in the Don Johnson Project will bring their masterful sound to Snapper’s Bar and Grill in Mechanicsburg. Showtime is 9:00.

Hardcore punk masters Dollface, thrash metal monsters Running Paralyzed and garage-rockers The Greenwash are going to keep things interesting at the Boondocks Club in York Haven. Doors open at 6:00.

The iconic American Posse provides an evening of rock infused country, with one of the best local vocalists you will have the pleasure of hearing, at the Winner’s Circle Saloon in Grantville. The boot-stomping will kick-off at 9:00.

One of the most complete, all-around bands working the circuit today, The Intensive Care Unit (I.C.U.), is playing at Fat Daddy’s in York. The frivolity will begin at 10:00.

Saturday

The Don Johnson Project will keep-on keeping-on at Morgan’s Place in Harrisburg. If you missed ‘em on Friday, catch ‘em on Saturday! Start time is 8:00.

Penntera is going to shred their way into your hearts at the Boondocks Club in York Haven. Noodlebone will provide the opening tunes starting at 9:30. Let the Primal Concrete Sledge rain down!

Adrian Blitzer and Random Allies join forces to give you a night of extreme entertainment and rock and roll. The place is Tubby’s Nightclub in Duncannon. The time is 9:30. Partying and enjoyment will ensue!

Metal masters Dove of War will drop the gauntlet at Jackson’s Junction in New Cumberland. The thrashing shall commence at 9:00.

Grind are going to rock the house at Ye Old Ale House in Mechanicsburg. Waysted Sylence will start things off at 9:30.

Hard rockers Insulated in Pink are gonna rock things out at Rumor’s in Enola. The Pink will start flying around 9:00.

Metal-tastic bangers LeadFoot will crush your skulls at Fat Daddy’s in York. Arena rockers Xhibition starts putting the pedal to the metal at 9:00.

American Posse returns to the Winner’s Circle Saloon in Grantville. If you missed them Friday night (or if you just can’t get enough Posse), here’s your second chance! Show time is 9:00.
