Harrisburg music scene this weekend (02/26 & 02/27)

If you’re tired of snow, or if you love all the snow, it doesn’t matter. Get yer booty out to one of these Central Pennsylvania shows this weekend. Support local bands and the clubs, taverns, bars and halls that give you live music!

Friday February 26

The legendary country-rockers Smokin’ Gunnz will melt your ears and move your rears at Overtime Sports Bar & Grill in Hershey. Come on and raise a little hell starting at 10:00 sharp!

Dove of War is going to bring the hammer down at Snappers Bar and Grill in Mechanicsburg. Start time is 9:00.

If you want to hit the PSU scene, head to The Arena in State College and check out the magnificent, diverse and hard-rocking Candlelight Red starting at 10:00.

Goodbye Horses will flaunt their eclectic mix of covers and originals to Malone’s in Harrisburg. The festivities will kick off at 10:00.

Saturday February 27

Emily’s Toybox returns to the confines of Harrisburg when they play The Hardware Bar starting at 10:30. Do not be late, or else you might miss out!

Go Go Gadjet (great band with a great name) will bring their extremely versatile show to The Village in Lancaster starting at 10:00.

Evelyn’s Ashes will be playing the Boondocks Club in York Haven. This place may be in the middle of nowhere, but you have got to go check it out! Worlds End, Maddam Ink, Head Case and Slim 6 are slated to start things off. Doors open at 7:00. You must be 18 to enter and 21 to drink.

Dove of War is two-fisting it this weekend, as they will be back in action at Rumors in Enola. Showtime is 9:30.

Black Mountain Jack wraps Double K Tavern in Harrisburg in a big, southern rock cocoon and won’t let go. You just gotta move your feet! Start time is 9:30.

High energy act Odd Thomas and modern rockers Lucid are gonna party ‘til the cows come home at Tubby’s in Duncannon. Expect the rock and roll to commence at 9:00.
