Harold Ramis mourned by many including fan and actor Al Quinn (Photos)

On Feb. 25, 2014, fans of award-winning actor, writer and director Harold Ramis contacted Examiner.com to share their memories and feelings about the comedic actor. Among them was actor Al Quinn, 84, who resides in Fort Myers, Fla. Ramis, 69, died on Feb. 24.

Al Quinn, did you work with Harold Ramis, and if not how do you remember him?

"Since I've been in the entertainment business for over half a century, Harold and I might have run into each other along the way, but no, I can't say we ever met. However, I have enjoyed his work for years."

What is your favorite movie he was a part of?

"I liked his work, as I like comedy, and that is what he excelled at. I'd have to say my favorite movie he was associated with would be 'Caddyshack,' no, 'Stripes,' no, 'Analyze This,' no.... they're all my favorites!

I especially liked him in 'Ghostbusters,' along with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts and Rick Moranis. He, they all, made me laugh."

Harold Ramis will remain a part of Hollywood history, and he was a man who could make you laugh. Some of his comedic film projects include:
