Has summer vacation tilted your young learners toward media with low learning quality? As summer fades and a new school year begins, savvy parents ensure their learners are surrounded by excellent learning resources, well-integrated to enrich skills-based learning. Netflix adds to learning enrichment’s opportunities by joining with Scholastic Media, a division of the well-respected global children’s educational publishing and media company, to bring top-rated and award-winning Scholastic television shows and video content to its subscribers in the United States, Canada, UK, Ireland and Latin America. This is the first time many of the Scholastic titles have been available in the streaming format.
Magic School Bus
For the 2013-14 school year, The Magic School Bus® (seasons 1-4; all 52 episodes), will be available to Netflix members in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and Latin America. Based on the best-selling Emmy® Award winning book series by Scholastic, The Magic School Bus is the longest running science series ever. Its audio is star-studded, featuring the voices of Lilly Tomlin, Wynonna Judd, Dolly Parton, Tony Randall, and Malcolm-Jamal Warner.

"We are very happy to be the streaming home for popular classics from Scholastic Media."
"We are delighted Netflix has recognized the power of Scholastic's iconic and award winning global brands," said Deborah Forte, President of Scholastic Media and Executive Vice President of Scholastic Inc. "We are thrilled to see the shows are as popular as ever – which is validated by the Netflix subscribers we're so happy to serve."
