"Healing America’s troops, one Hero at a time" is what drives the Healing Heroes Network
Due to medical advances the nation is thankful that so many more of those in combat are coming back alive than in past wars. As a result of the many saved from death are those veterans reentering society coming home with lost limbs, severe post traumatic stress, and on-going medical problems that will require a lifetime of care. Unfortunately the urgent demand for medical needs and aid has become an overwhelming task for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to undertake.
Fortunately much of the needed support for these veterans has come from the Healing Heroes Network taking on the mission to "help heal America's heroes". The network provides financial aid and free medical treatment to men and women who have incurred line of duty injuries in Iraq and Afghanistan on or since 9/11.
The Healing Heroes Network truly is a network of heroes helping others. The network is made up of hero medical professionals who provide care at no charge to hero veterans who are denied coverage for certain services, or are being held off by a system of delayed benefits. Heroes come in many forms of beings doing their part to help whether fighting to protect society, healing those who have fought or raise funds in an effort to assist in the war to heal and protect. Healing Heroes network is about heroes coming together in support of one another and everyone has a chance to do their part in this important mission.
