This weekend marks the 110th anniversary of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle and over 100,000 are headed to Milwaukee for the long weekend and to celebrate the Harley-Davidson anniversary. As many as 60,000 people are already in the area for the three-day event.
People are coming from all over the world for the celebration that includes performers Toby Keith, Kid Rock, Aerosmith and ZZ Top. Harley-Davidson threw a similar party 10 years ago for the 100th anniversary and many people who attended that party plan to arrive for this one.
Thursday, the festivities already started in the Milwaukee area and crowds began to gather in the streets. The Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary party also includes the concerts, a vendor mall, a parade and street parties, according to the CS Monitor. Tickets for the lakeside three-day party are $95 and there will be five stages for music.
