Tonight's episode of "Hardcore Pawn," at Detroit's famous landmark, American Jewelry and Loan, the pawn shop never without some sort of conflict, irate people, sibling rivalry and family drama is titled “Karen versus Ashley.”

As the episode begins, Karen and Ashley are talking, and Karen is sure her sales have been high. As they talk, Ashley is doubtful that her sales have been anything to brag about, as the green-eyed monster is still lurking around the pawn shop, especially when Karen tells Ashley that she has restocked the stainless steel showcase seven times.

Seth and Bobby J are talking with two guys who need a loan against their disk golf equipment. As the four of them throw the disks trying to knock down a water bottle, they make a deal for a $70 loan.

Two guys come in to see Les, and are interested in Marshall amps. The one guy is a regular who Les knows, but the other guy, who is his brother, plays bass guitar with various singers like Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and R. Kelley. The price was $400, and he agreed to it immediately. When his brother asked what he was going to do with it, he told him he was buying it for him. What an awesome gift, as both guys took turns playing in the shop, the place was rocking.

When Ashley mentioned that Karen restocked the showcase for stainless steel seven times, she said it loud enough that Karen overheard. Then they went in the back to settle their differences, but the undercurrent is still stirring.

A man with a picture of a clock on his phone wants $500 for the clock. Seth tells him to bring it in so he can evaluate the merchandise. The man insists that he give him a quote then and there. When Seth quotes him the store policy, he starts getting loud and climbs on the display. He is given the special escort out of the door.

A man comes in with old McDonald’s playground characters that he found in someone’s front yard. He wants $2,100 for the three, but although Ashley and Les like them, the most they offer him is $1,075, so he decides to keep them.

Ashley ordered Karen to clean up the displays, but she accidentally broke a glass figurine, and Ashley berated her for her action. She then sent her to the fur room to organize it, because there was nothing breakable there.

A man came in with three presidential signatures in frames; he had the certificate of authenticity with each one. Seth did not feel that Madison, Cleveland and Andrew Jackson. He wanted $40,000 for the trio, and immediately dropped to $17,500, where Seth felt that he lost all credibility by lowering his price so quickly. His final asking price was $15,000, but Seth would only give him $9,000. Sorry, no deal.

A woman came in to see Les, who had a fur coat in pawn, but she wanted her computer that was not there. She insisted that they had her computer and did not want to take no for an answer. Finally, after giving Les a sermon, she was escorted out of the shop.

When Les went in the warehouse and found Karen sorting the furs, he questioned why she was there. She told him that Ashley sent her back there because she broke an item. Les sent for Ashley and told her to help Karen and then get out on the sales floor as quickly as possible on this episode of "Hardcore Pawn."
