‘Hardcore Pawn’ orders staff to ‘Buy Baby Buy’ on Tru-TV

Tonight's episode of "Hardcore Pawn," at Detroit's famous landmark, American Jewelry and Loan, the pawn shop never without some sort of conflict, irate people, sibling rivalry and family drama is titled “Buy Baby Buy.”

As the episode begins, a man and his son come in with a signed Justin Verlander jersey from his rookie year in 2006 with the Detroit Tigers, when he was named American League Rookie of the Year. It is framed and authenticated and after much negotiating with the young son, Seth bought it for $230.

Two women come in with two old Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse carved figures. They wanted $2,000, and Les offered them $550, as Ashley was protesting his purchase. Then Seth put his two cents into the conversation and claimed that they bought too much and sold too little.

Two guys came in to see Seth with their fantasy football picks and tried to sell him their team picks. They received Byron’s fantasy escort out of the door.

A man came in with a Les Paul Gibson guitar signed by Ace Freely and completely authenticated. He is asking $10,000, but will take $8,500 for it. Les offers $5,500, as Ashley watches the deal fall through.

When two guys come in and start playing a piano that is clearly marked “Do Not Touch.” Byron sends them packing.

The man with the guitar comes back to renegotiate. Les offers him $7,600 and not a penny more, and finally closed the deal. Les knows that he will double his money on the guitar, and his naysayer children will have to learn that before they take over the business on this episode of "Hardcore Pawn."
